  8. Thank you for trying the trial version of Win Rotis 1.0.1
  9.  
  10. Win Rotis is a full featured, industrial strength relational
  11. database engine with which Rotis Leagues may be maintained and reported
  12. on.  This is the base driving module.  As the season progress'
  13. you will see another package with additional reporting features.
  14.  
  15. The Win Rotis engine, in this trial package is limited to 5 Stat file
  16. imports.  The first being the initial Data Base load.  And then after
  17. creating teams, you will be able to load 4 additional stat files until it
  18. ceases to operate.  You will be able to obtain a Password which will
  19. overide this if you decide to Register.  This Password will allow you
  20. to continue processing imports and such.  You will receive the Registered
  21. Version of the software shortly after we give you the Password.

  23. The Shareware Version does not allow DDE (Transfer of information to
  24. other Window Applications such as EXCEL, WORD, etc.)  The registered
  25. version does.

  28. Please follow these steps to install the package:
  29.  
  30. -- Make sure you have at least 1.5MB of disk space available.
  31.  
  32. -- Make sure you have VBRUN200.DLL in your Windows\System\ directory
  33.    If you do not, it can be found in the MSBASIC or WINAPP Forums
  34.    This is the DLL in which all Visual Basic 2.0 programs require
  35.    (It's worth having anyway)
  36.  
  37. -- Download WROT1.EXE, WROT2.EXE (or WROT1.ZIP or WROT2.ZIP whichever
  38.    the board/or system here allows)
  39.  
  40. -- Either Unzip/Execute WROT1 and WROT2 in its own directory on the hard
  41.    harddrive in a temp directory called BTEMP, or Unzip/Execute WROT1 to
  42.    its own disk, then WROT2 to its own disk.

  44. -- From Windows, Use the file manager, and run the SETUP.EXE file either
  45.    in your BTEMP directory, or your first disk.  This setup program will
  46.    automatically create the new directory, transfer all files, and create
  47.    Icons in your Windows Environment.

  49. Note that this trial package is intended to let you get some hands-on
  50. experience with Win Rotis 1.0.1  You can get a very close look at the
  51. capabilities of the product.

  110. Major notes of functions:

  112. Drops:    Drops are handled by keeping the stats for the player on your team
  113.     until the date of drop.
  114.  
  115. Adding:    All players added to a Team start with 0's for stats.  This
  116.     gives split stats.  You only get the stats a player earns while
  117.     on your team.

  119. Stats:    All player stats are kept for the entire leauge, inluding the OPEN
  120.     pool.  This enabled various reports, plus up to date information
  121.     on all players, at all times.
